Why Join the Gold Coast MG Car Club?

Joining our MG car club is your gateway to a vibrant community of MG enthusiasts who share your passion for these iconic vehicles, whether they're pre-war classics, post-war marvels, or modern iterations.

At the heart of our club is a thriving social scene, bringing members together for a wide range of enjoyable events year-round. Our calendar is packed with opportunities to connect with fellow MG aficionados. We organise regular runs, typically on the 2nd Wednesday and the last Sunday of each month, offering you the chance to cruise along scenic 'MG roads' in the company of fellow MG owners.

For those with a need for speed, our motorsport activities are rapidly expanding. From exciting funkhana events to adrenaline-pumping sprints and hillclimbs, we provide a supportive environment for members eager to experience MG cars the way Cecil Kimber envisioned.

As a member, you'll gain exclusive access to :

- Our Member-Only Portal, which offers several valuable features, including the ability to manage your account and register your vehicle details in our club's database.
- You'll also receive our esteemed Time Machine Club Magazine, a treasure trove of MG-related insights and stories.
- Access to technical working bees at The Shed, where you can refine your mechanical skills and gain hands-on experience with MG maintenance and repairs.
- Our classifieds section is a valuable resource for buying, selling, swapping, or finding MG cars and spare parts, connecting you with fellow members looking to share or expand their MG collections.

Membership Fees :

Membership rates are :

• $75.00 Annual Membership fee (if joining in April, May or June, membership also includes the following year)
• $37.50 Half Year Membership fee (for applicants between 1 Jan and 31 March)
• plus a $20.00 Joining fee for each person on the application

Motorsport Activities are inherently dangerous recreational activities and there is significant risk of injury, disability or death. If you do not wish to be exposed to such risks, then you should not participate in the Motorsport Activities.

Concessional & Conditional Registration

Members of the Gold Coast MG Car Club are able to apply, depending in which state you reside, for either the Queensland Special Interest Vehicle Concessional registration or the NSW Historic Conditional Registration.
